This vintage 1960s brooch is a Kenneth Jay Lane original. It is a significant size and the Malta cross inspired design fits right in to the current military-inspired look.
Available at www.riceandbeansvintage.com for $195.
Brooches have been seen on fronts of some of the most fashionable women in town recently (Olivia Palermo and Fabiola Bercasa - to name a few) and there are a thousand ways to wear them. I suggest that the bigger the brooch the better and don't always assume it needs to be placed on a lapel! Get creative and use one on a strand of beads or a chain; wear one front and center - under your neckline; or wear a collection down a sleeve or together to create something dramatic.
