Pregnant Chic

This is how pregnant is done when you live in Paris and work at Vogue. Be inspired - don't be afraid to look chic and tall while expecting.

Love That Look

Take it from Kate Moss, it doesn't take much to look good. Try your own version of this easy chic outfit - perfect for a casual workday, a mom on the go, or girl about town. Notice her less-than-perfect chignon (saves time getting ready and looks great!), and black accessories to coordinate with her mostly-black outfit. The brown boots add a touch of the unexpected and scream fall.

Need a 3/4 sleeve blazer to get you through the coming months (a great wardrobe staple)? Try the Textured Jacket in black at www.anntaylorloft.com for $89.50.

Vintage Find of the Day

Love this coil cuff with enamel embellishments and striking rhinestones. It's timeless and chic and would look great layered with complementary gold bracelets, or all by itself!

Check it out at www.avintagejewel.com (and it's only $35).

Studded Style

It's clear that studded clothing and accessories are here to stay. From studded shoulder blazers to embellished floral frocks, studs are making there way to countless styles across the fashion universe.

Not quite sure you're ready to take the studded plunge? Try an easy accessory out to give the look a try. This belt is a great option and could be worn with almost anything. Treat it as a neutral and cinch it around any of your favorite tops or dresses for fall (channel your inner SJP for inspiration).

Belt info: Hyde Collection Pyramid Stud Belt at www.nordstrom.com for $78.

Street Style - London Style

Shrunken motorcycle jacket, flowy dress and statement shoes (not to mention, one of my favorite B bags) - this London Fashion Week attendee has it all right!

Substitute Chic

Balmain's extended shoulder military jacket has been seen on some of the most enviable fashion frames in the world, like this one. Since it's not that easy to find or afford, why not try a dynamite substitute like this Alice + Olivia version (at www.shopbop.com).

Shoe Love

More Plaid Chic

Keep it simple. Understated plaid, skinny jeans and black ballet flats.

Tights Have It

It's 95 degrees here and almost impossible to think about anything touching my legs (other than the chill of the pool), but I love dressing for fall and I have my eye on fashion tights. I first spotted a pair of luxe Louis Vuitton monogrammed hose (no, thanks) and quickly moved on to the popular dotted kind seen in almost every fashion magazine over the last two issues. Light enough for fall and those days and nights when you need something, but you don't want to go too heavy on the opaque. And, fashionable enough for Balenciaga (above) -- works for me.

Get the look above with your own pair of Gerbe Plumetis Spotty Tights at www.mytights.com (for under $30).

Leather Look Chic

Add this shrunken leather (leather-like; it's faux) to your fall wardrobe and I promise it will become an instant favorite. Wear it over flowy dresses, evening shorts, your favorite jeans and just about anything else you own. It will promise endless versatility and style!

Make it yours (on sale!) at www.theoutnet.com - the Luella Dougie bomber jacket.

Kate Schelter Chic

So glam - simple chic. Be inspired by Kate's look and her blog - she is gifted and beautiful. http://www.kateschelter.com/blog/

Tweed Chic by Rachel Roy

Rachel Roy is one of my favorite designers and her new diffusion line, Rachel - Rachel Roy, does not disappoint. This 100% cotton, tweed jacket with frayed edges is one of my favorite pieces from her collection geared toward a younger, slightly more daring consumer (than her original line). It also comes with a very appealing price tag.

Make it yours at www.rachelroy.com for $149.

Yellow Chic

I love these yellow cropped cords from the Gap. They remind me of THIS wonderful outfit.

(Cropped cords from the Gap in dijon; $54).

Glam For Your Hands

Stackable never goes out of style. Enjoy this set of 11, 22k yellow gold plated brass hammered rings made by Kevia. Available now at www.gilt.com for $82.

See You Later Alligator

We're starting to think about Halloween in our house and I'm inspired by the PB Kids costumes. They have an entirely new selection this year with price tags that seem to match the current economic mood (or, at least they've lowered their prices). My fave is this alligator get-up.

Dress Your Table

Dress your table with the beautiful hand-painted creations of Bulgar USA. The colorful and unique patterns used across Bulgar's product lines tell stories of Bulgaria past, and are as special as they are beautiful.

Check out Bulgar's online catalog at www.bulgarusa.com.

Molto Elegante

Houndstooth Chic For Home

Have a bare floor that needs a little dressing up? Check out the houndstooth rug collection at www.homedecorators.com (called the Boondocks Area Rug). Reminiscent of the Jonathan Adler version, these come in an array of sizes and four different colors. Made of 100% wool, you don't have to worry about quality being an issue.

Love That Look

Lawren Howell keeps it simple during Fashion Week with this effortless chic look (never mind the psuedo fanny pack). Try your own version before heading out the door this week. Trade in the silk blouse for a fitted long sleeve black t-shirt and contrast it with a light, modern print skirt.

All The Rage Chic

I don't care how much you love dresses, or how much you hate your thighs, these are the season's must have pant for any woman who wants to try something new. The harem pant is not totally safe, yet Silence & Noise has come up with a fit that is roomy and flattering at the same time and can easily be worn by any body type. Buy yours today and you won't be sorry!

Make it work: Pair with a tank top for evening, long necklace and cropped jacket to show off the naturally tapered waste that's created with this cut. NEVER wear flats with a harem pant and dare to wear the tallest heel you own.

(See www.urbanoutfitters.com for the Silence & Noise Harem pant in a range of sizes).

Dramatic Chic

So bold - so lavish. These are my new favorite earrings! Created by Erickson Beamon they are incredibly sophisticated and chic. The dramatic hue of the middle blue stone is enough to make an otherwise neutral outfit shine. It would be impossible to tire of these!
(On sale now at www.chickdowntown.com).

Glam Chic

This is my dream dress for fall. A Sonia Rykiel luxe, sequin embellished cocktail dress that is equally classic and cool. Given its price tag, it will likely never find its way to my closet, but it's worth daydreaming about for now.

A Little Oomph

Add a little Oomph to your decor with these cute tables from a new company based out of Connecticut, called - you guessed it - Oomph. Priced just right, their tables are available in 4 different designs and 15 colors (all under $450)! This one, called the Two Leaf Tini, would make a great end table and could adorn the side of any sofa. Or, why not use it as a makeshift bar table. Better yet, use it as a bedside table. The options are endless.

If you really want to get creative, the company offers a custom version where the customer provides his or her favorite material for the top (shown here with the standard painted rafia).

Check it out at www.oomphonline.com

Tie Dye Chic

Hold onto summer a little while longer with this lavender and grey, dip-dyed tunic. Made of silk organza and finished with covered buttons, it is a great option for anyone looking to make a little diversion from the very popular, more preppy variety of tunic.

Make it work: Wear over skinny white jeans with neutral sandals (high or low) and a striking pair of gold chandelier earrings.

(Buy yours now at www.vivre.com for $91.25; large selection of sizes available).

Plaid Shirt Chic

Anyone who watches The Rachel Zoe Project, knows that styling associate Taylor does an excellent job mixing and matching edgy pieces with paired down classic ones. She is far from conservative when it comes to her wardrobe choices, and she always looks comfortable, cool and super stylish.

One of her easiest looks to emulate - the fitted plaid shirt with skinny jeans or black cigarette pants. It's a combo that screams cool and modern and one that's great for fall and winter.

(Need some ideas for fitted plaid? Try this Mike & Chris number from www.shopbop.com - called the Robinson Plaid Shirt and currently on sale for $105).

Razzle Dazzle Chic

What's not to love about this gorgeous sapphire clamp bracelet. Created by Rodrigo Otazu (a Netherlands based jewelry designer), this piece is alluring and classic. Wear it as an everyday sparkler (it's bound to put a smile on your face and all who admire it), or pull it out for those special evening occasions that call for something wonderful on your wrist.

(On sale now for $162.50 at www.funkylala.com).

Those Earrings

Bochic onyx and diamond earrings with ruby and emerald.

Love That Look

Olivia Palermo's easy chic look is perfect for everyday in the suburbs, and comfy enough for a mom on the go. Try your own version with a casual, striped t and full white skirt (doesn't have to be mini). Add a little sparkle, as she did, by wearing metallic flats and stylish sunglasses.

Not quite ready for the metallic oxford look, try a metallic ballet flat instead. J Crew has a cute version that's offered in four different shades (Marjorie metallic ballet flat).

That Necklace

So chic! I spotted this image in the latest J. Crew catalog and fell immediately in love. I went straight online to determine how much such a divine creation would cost. But, then I realized it's not a single necklace, but 3 separate ones (maybe 4?). As the subtitle suggests, that is layering at its finest - the perfect combo.

Be inspired! Layer your own collection of like and un-like pieces.

Those Shoes

Check out these dynamite Lanvin woven metallic sandals. They are the perfect shoe for someone who wants something glamorous but doesn't want a too-tall heel. Pair them with a black pleated pant for fall, or your favorite summer sheeth that has a few more warm nights in its near future.

The silver and gold combination make them very versatile, and on sale at www.kirnazabete.com, who can resist!

Dresser Chic

Putting clothes away has never been so much fun. This charming dresser, called the Brigitta, is available through Anthropologie.

When I think of Anthropologie, I think of whimsy, frilly dresses and retro-looking shoes, but not furniture. Yet, every time I visit one of their stores I'm surprised by how captivated I become by their interesting case pieces, wall art and upholstered furniture. Case in point, the dresser! It is handmade of a durable, dark wood found in India. The size is not overwhelming and would be perfect for a little boy's room. For under $800, it's a very good price too!

(Give it a look at www.anthropologie.com).
