Jonathan Kelsey Chic

His shoes are fabulous and they are on sale now at www.gilt.com.

Vintage Find of the Day

Add some beautiful color to your holiday wardrobe with this gorgeous yellow lace sheath dress from the 1960s. Made by Ceil Chapman, this dress exhibits outstanding detail and is complete with dotted rhinestones across the bodice and sleeves (see close up photos). It is wonderful in every way.

Making it work: Don't be afraid to wear this now and through the winter months. Pair it with dark tights (black would be safest - but a rich purple (not lavender) would look great) and some daring black stilettos. Keep your jewelry simple (earrings only) and let the dress be your center of attention.

Not so sure you are ready to pull off colored tights? Look HERE for a little inspiration.

Available now for $185 at www.woodlandfarmsantiques.com in a size 6.

Preppy chic! This 1960s jacket is a stunner. It's French-made of a heavy cotton brocade and is in wonderful condition. Notice the leopard-spots on the bamboo design and the authentic bamboo buttons. The lucky owner of this jacket is sure to enjoy it for countless seasons.

Since we are on the subject of scarves and everyone needs to keep their neck warm this winter, why not try a few different styles. Add vintage fur (or faux fur) to your everyday coat and mitten routine and it will immediately add more style flare to your look.

This vintage mink scarf is the perfect size (length and width) to add inside a blazer, denim jacket, or a more significant overcoat. Its neutral color will go with everything. It's in excellent condition and costs less ($85) than most knit scarves out there.

I love a girl who isn't afraid of color or surprise. And, since I'm not feeling well this image, with its cozy scarf, is even more charming than normal.

Accessorize right and keep warm with a felt hat! Hats are often overlooked when considering winter style and there is nothing more chic than a fashionable topper. I love this 1950s deco felt version. Its shape is just right for keeping warm and is hardly overwhelming. In outstanding condition.

Get a jump start on your holiday party scene with the perfect, festive outfit to wear. This vintage Lanvin skirt and blouse are gorgeous. You could use a combination of accessories (belts, jewelery, fur vest and shoes) to create a collection of looks to get you through the season of parties with this single duo. So chic.

Making it work: Get creative! For daytime, layer with a wonderful fur vest or black blazer. Wear woven or decorative tights on your legs and team those with a super pair of black booties. For evening, cinch with a statement belt and some wonderful bracelets on both wrists.

Blazer Chic

Here's a different take on the ever-popular black, boyfriend blazer. This tailored hunting jacket is a beautiful green and would make a great substitute for a regular old jacket. Use it as your final layer when heading out the door and treat it as a neutral - wear it with everything.

Made by Smythe (Les Vestes) and sold at specialty boutiques as well as Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdales, Intermix and Saks.

View the entire collection at www.smythelesvestes.com.

Dining Room Chic

I would like a dining room option just like this one, including the chandelier.

Vintage Find of the Day

Since we are on the subject of sequins and it's being seen on almost every fashionable street style photo in Europe right now, I thought I would throw out another option. This Harry Acton cardigan is a great piece. The cropped hemline makes it very current and stylish and the crystal buttons are a wonderful touch. And, being a cardigan makes it plenty versatile.

Making it work: Style it with your favorite jeans for night time. If you are afraid that the sparkle is too much, layer it under a blazer. Or, dress it down for day time in the city with a relaxed plaid shirt underneath or casual knit turtleneck. Another option - throw it over your little black dress after the office for an immediate day-to-night look. You can't go wrong with this sweater. Use your imagination and have fun with it!

Size small and in excellent condition at www.marionmercer.com.

This once-custom made (in the 1940s) hexagonal bracelet is a super piece of design. It has a flexible patterned link strap that looks dynamite and is probably very comfortable to wear - one of those bracelets you don't even realize you have on. Enjoy this one! It's a treasure.

Available at www.sashamaksvintage.com for $145.
